Meta ads

Meta ads for flooring companies. Judged on booked estimates.

Boosted posts buy likes. Likes don’t install floors. Meta doesn’t hand you people already shopping for floors. It hands you the ones who weren’t, which is most of your market. We cut the creative off your own jobs and run the campaigns. Every lead lands in your CRM with its source attached.

Creative off your own jobs  the ad account in your name  15-minute phone call

Illustration: a phone feed scrolling to one of our flooring ads, a floor laying in across the video, captioned watch this floor go in, over the line hardwood, LVP, carpet, tile, and a book an estimate button.

Why it usually fails

Two ways this goes wrong. Neither one is Meta.

First, the boost button. It sits under the photo of the finished kitchen and it’s cheap. It buys reactions, because that is what it’s pointed at. Your cousin liked it. One person asked whether you do repairs two hours away. Nothing got booked. So the platform gets the blame.

Second, and this one’s worse, because on paper it worked. Real campaigns ran. Leads came in cheap. Then the forms sat in an inbox. Somebody called each one once, Tuesday afternoon, got voicemail, and moved on. Six weeks later the verdict is that Meta leads are junk.

Same problem, different clothes. A search lead already decided before you existed. A Meta lead hasn’t, which is exactly why it’s cheaper. It needs better creative in front of it and a person on the phone behind it. Early is not junk. It’s more work between the tap and the truck, and almost nobody does that work.

One shop we run was two months in and nearly ready to quit. Then one month turned. The number is further down this page, with its month attached.

The mechanics

What we actually do.

No dashboard you can’t read. No vocabulary invented to make it sound harder than it is.

  1. We read your market first.

Your city. What an average job is worth. What your close rate really is. Fifteen minutes on the phone, not a form. If the math does not work in your market, you hear that first.

  2. The creative comes off your own jobs.

Phone footage of a floor going in. The rip out. The underlayment. The room somebody lives in, before and after. Cut vertical. Captioned, because plenty of people never turn the sound on. We replace creative when the account needs it. Stock photos and adjectives get scrolled past, and they take your budget with them.

  3. The campaign points at the inquiry.

Not reactions. Not reach. Not page likes. One conversion event, the quote request, so the delivery system hunts people who ask for quotes, not people who tap a heart. Then we leave it alone long enough to learn. Most wasted money in this channel comes from judging week one and rebuilding in week two, which resets the learning every time.

  4. Tracking that works, then a clean hand-off.

Events wired properly, so the platform learns from real inquiries instead of guessing. Then a clean hand-off into your CRM. The account, the pixel, the audiences and the list stay in your name. If you leave, they leave with you.

  5. Your team or ours follows up.

On the ads-only program, every lead lands cleanly in your CRM and your team owns the follow-up. Add our call center and we dial every lead, qualify it and book the in-home estimate, with text supporting the human calls.

  6. It gets judged on booked estimates.

Not impressions. Not clicks. Not what a lead cost. What a booked estimate cost, how many showed up, and which creative produced them. When a set stops working we shoot another one instead of explaining the report.

The full playbook lives here

What you get

The deliverables. Nothing padded in.

  • Facebook and Instagram campaigns built and run. The ad account stays in your name.
  • Fresh creative when the account needs it, cut from footage off your own jobs.
  • Ad copy written for your market. Not a template with your city dropped in.
  • Tracking that works, so the platform learns from real inquiries.
  • A clean hand-off into your CRM. Pipeline and history in it.
  • Your team owns the follow-up on the ads-only program.
  • Add our call center for human calls, qualification, booking and supporting text follow-up.
  • Your team still closes. Nobody stands between you and the customer.

The calling and text follow-up row belongs only to the call-center option. On the ads-only program, your team owns every follow-up.

How the calling half works

Proof

What we’re cleared to publish.

$900 of ad spend became $27,000 of installs

In the month it turned around, after two months where they were nearly ready to quit.

The case files carry the rest of each account, dated the same way.

Read the case files

  • $70,000–$80,000 a month

    Now, consistently, eighteen months in.
  • Selling jobs inside the first two weeks

From the first two weeks. No dollar figure is published for this one.
  • $40,000 in jobs sold

The first six weeks, from our leads only.

That’s ad spend turning into installs. We won’t tell you which platform carried it. We don’t split a client’s number by channel, and pretending we do would be inventing the interesting half. Same for the three rows above.

Every figure on this site ships with the month it happened in. A page where every story is a straight line reads as fiction.

These are actual outcomes, reported with the windows of time they happened in, not guarantees, and what any contractor does depends on their market, their offer and how well the work gets sold.

How it starts

Fifteen minutes, on the phone.

How long
Fifteen minutes.
How
A phone call. Not a video meeting. An actual phone call.
The cost
Free. Nobody asks you for a card on it.
What we look at
Your market. Whatever you have already run on Facebook. What a job is worth to you.
Your city
Ask and you get a straight read. If we’re not sure yours is a fit, you hear it on the call, not after you’ve paid us.
No pitch
No slide deck. No contract on the screen. Nobody closing you.

What it costs

Common questions

The three we get asked about this.

  1. Do you take over my ad account, or does it stay mine?

It stays yours, in your name. We get access and do the work inside it, and you can read anything in it any day. Leave, and you keep the account, the spend history, the pixel and the audiences. Nothing gets handed back, because nothing was ever taken. Ask anybody else that question and listen for the pause.

  2. Who shoots the videos? I’m not doing that.

Somebody on your crew holds a phone for about twenty minutes, on a job you were already doing. That is the whole ask. We tell them what to point it at. We cut it, caption it and write it. If your crew will not do it, we work from photos and whatever is already on your phone. It does not hit as hard as a real floor going in, and we will say so.

  3. What if a batch of leads is weak?

Some of them will be. These are people who were not shopping until your ad interrupted them, so a share are early, distracted, or outside your area. Judge it on the booked estimate, never on the lead. And judge the desk behind it at the same time. Plenty of the leads people call junk were only early, and they book on Thursday.

Why the booked estimate is the number

See what your Facebook money is actually buying.

Bring whatever is running right now. We pull it apart on the call and tell you what we’d change first. Nobody sells you anything.
